Neal is a proven leader and sound financial executive with a successful track record, including a successful exit from the Deepwater Drilling Consulting company, which he co-founded. An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, Neal can relate to people at all levels of an organization. Both hands-on and strategic, Neal has developed detailed plans and provided focused execution in reaching corporate objectives.

Prior to starting and successfully exiting Argonauta Drilling Services as CFO, Neal was Manager of Oil and Gas Accounting at Reading and Bates, a subsidiary of R&B Falcon, which was later sold to Transocean. Neal also served as CFO of Matrix Gas Corporation, was controller of an O&G production company, and was accounting manager of Coastal Corporation, an NYSE-listed company with over 40 indirect and direct reports.

Neal holds a BBA from Texas A&M Kingsville and is actively involved in his community, including Fort Bend Child Advocates, Krause Children’s Center, and the chair of various volunteer committees at the Second Baptist Church. Neal is based in Houston.
